Utah C Foster to have foot surgery

Salt Lake City, UT – University of Utah center David Foster is scheduled to undergo foot surgery later this week and will be out until further notice.

Foster sustained the injury against Adams State in an exhibition game on November 4.

The 7-foot-3, 255-pound senior center is Utah's career record holder in blocked shots with 219 and averaged 2.9 points and 5.2 rebounds per game last season.

In addition, junior guard Chris Hines will miss approximately two to four weeks with a rib injury suffered in the same exhibition game.
