UCLA's Kendricks wins Lott Trophy

Newport Beach, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - UCLA linebacker Eric Kendricks won the Lott IMPACT Trophy on Sunday night.

The award, named for Hall of Fame defensive back Ronnie Lott, honors players for their on-field performance and character off the field. IMPACT stands for Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity.

Kendricks, who also won the Butkus Award as the nation's top linebacker, became the second straight Bruin to capture the Lott Trophy, following Anthony Barr in 2013.

The other finalists for the award were Landon Collins of Alabama, David Helton of Duke and Hau'oli Kikaha of Washington.
