San Diego Chargers coach Norv Turner denied Monday that his team used Stickum during a loss to the Denver Broncos on Oct. 15.
Fox Sports reported Sunday that a Chargers equipment man was supposedly seen handing out little hand towels on the field with the illegal substance inside.
"Nobody from the San Diego Chargers used Stickum in the game Monday night against the Denver Broncos," Turner said. "Nobody in this organization has used Stickum in any game."
The substance was confiscated and sent to the Broncos and league officials.
