A crew member in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series has been suspended indefinitely for violating NASCAR's substance abuse policy.
William Wheeler, who works on No. 57 truck, was cited for violating NASCAR rules regarding the substance abuse policy and actions detrimental to stock car racing.
NASCAR suspended him Thursday, according to a press release from the racing series.
The No. 57 truck belongs to driver Norm Benning, who owns his team, Norm Benning Racing.
