Seventh seed Viktor Troicki posted round victory Tuesday at the $1.6 million ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament.

The Serbian Troicki topped wild card and Dutch crowd favorite Thiemo de Bakker 7-6 (8-6), 6-0 on the indoor hardcourt at Ahoy Rotterdam.

A Day-2 upset came when German Philipp Kohlschreiber doused eighth-seeded Spaniard Marcel Granollers 6-1, 1-6, 6-4.

Additional wins came for Italian Andreas Seppi and Finn Jarkko Nieminen.

This week's top seeds are former world No. 1 Roger Federer, recent Montpellier titlist Tomas Berdych and former U.S. Open champ Juan Martin del Potro. Federer was the Rotterdam titlist the last time he played here, in 2005.

The 2012 Rotterdam winner will collect $385,000.
