Trey Blue scored 15 points and three other Vermont players scored in double figures in a 70-45 win over Albany on Saturday.
Luke Apfeld, Sandro Carissimo and Candon Rusin each finished with 12 points for the Catamounts (9-5, 2-0 America East Conference), who have won three of their last four games.
Vermont never trailed against the Great Danes (12-4, 1-1), who had their three-game winning streak snapped. The Catamounts jumped out to a 24-11 lead when Carissimo knocked down a 3-pointer with 7:18 left in the first half.
Blue, who went 7 of 10 from the floor, made a jumper as time expired before halftime to give Vermont a 35-19 advantage. The Catamounts continued their surge in the second half, leading by as many as 28 points to cruise along for the victory.
Mike Black was the only Albany player to score in double digits with 14 points.
