NEW YORK (Reuters) - Defensive tackle and restricted free agent Tony Brown has agreed a multi-year contract extension with the Tennessee Titans, the NFL team said on Thursday.
Although details were not disclosed by the Titans, local media estimate the deal to be worth $17 million over three years.
A mainstay in the team's defensive line, the 29-year-old Brown was signed by Tennessee as a free agent in October 2006.
He has recorded 15.5 sacks in 52 career starts and ranks seventh among NFL defensive tackles over the last two years with nine sacks.
