CLEVELAND (AP) — The Detroit Tigers at Cleveland Indians game has been postponed by rain after a delay of 2 hours, 12 minutes.
The teams had played four innings with Detroit leading 7-6 on Friday night, but all records were washed away. That includes a two-run homer by the Tigers' Miguel Cabrera, three-run shot by Cleveland's Travis Hafner and a solo homer by the Indians' Grady Sizemore that would have been his first since Aug. 27.
No makeup date was immediately announced. The teams are scheduled to play Saturday at 1:05 p.m.
