Lake Buena Vista, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Detroit Tigers officially announced Wednesday they agreed to a two-year contract with outfielder Rajai Davis.
No financial terms were disclosed, but CBSSports.com reported on Tuesday that the deal is worth $10 million.
Davis hit .260 with six homers and 24 RBI in 108 games with the Toronto Blue Jays last season. He stole 45 bases, marking the fourth time in the last five years he has surpassed 40 steals.
The 33-year-old native of Connecticut is a career .268 hitter with 268 stolen bases, 27 homers, 25 triples, 224 RBI and 351 runs scored over eight seasons for the Pirates, Giants, A's and Jays.
