Alex Tiffin scored 21 points and grabbed nine rebounds to help power Sacramento State past NAIA-William Jessup, 85-54 Saturday night.
The Hornets rolled to a 50-28 halftime lead and never looked back, shooting 59.3 percent from the floor (32-for-54). Tiffin hit 8 of 11 shots from the floor but was just 5 of 10 from the free throw line.
Mikh McKinney added 14 points for Sacramento State (3-4), coming off a one week break for final exams after suffering loss at Texas-El Paso.
Kelton Newman scored 14 points off the bench to lead the Warriors, who shot 30.3 percent from the field as a team. Corey Clement added 11 points.
Sacramento State now has just two non-conference games remaining on its schedule before heading into Big Sky Conference play in January.
