Thiago Silva out three weeks for PSG

Paris, France – PSG defender Thiago Silva is expected to miss the next three weeks due to a thigh injury, the club confirmed on Monday.

Silva sustained the injury in PSG's 0-0 draw with Ajaccio on Friday, which dropped the club two points back of leaders Lyon.

The 28-year-old has started 15 games in Ligue 1 this season after making the move from AC Milan over the summer, and he is now likely to miss league matches with Bordeaux, Lille, Toulouse and Bastia, while he faces a race to be fit in time for PSG's Champions League round of 16 match at Valencia on Feb. 12.
