Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Houston Texans linebacker Jadeveon Clowney will not play Monday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers after all.
Clowney had hoped to suit up for the first time since Week 1.
The former South Carolina star is still just feeling his way back after having surgery to repair a torn left meniscus last month and was limited in practice this week.
Clowney made one tackle against Washington in his first NFL game before walking into the locker room under his own power near the end of the first half.
He had offseason sports hernia surgery and also suffered a concussion during a joint scrimmage against the Denver Broncos during training camp.
