It's never easy for Tennessee State football opponents to escape "The Hole" with a victory.

Tennessee State hopes to keep it that way this season after announcing it will play one game on campus at Hale Stadium - Nov. 9 against Ohio Valley Conference rival Austin Peay.

The Tigers usually play at LP Stadium, home of the Tennessee Titans, but last season they played three games at Hale Stadium, affectionately known as "The Hole," for the first time since 1998.

"Here at TSU, we have a very rich tradition," TSU athletic director Teresa Phillips said. "Having games back at Hale last year was great for the fans, alumni and players. We look to continue the tradition and make more memories at Hale."

TSU went 8-3 during the 2012 season, including 5-0 at home.
