Washington Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg is tentatively scheduled to make his next start after leaving Friday's game against Atlanta.
Strasburg exited the contest after two innings with what was initially described as an oblique strain, but later diagnosed as a mild lat strain. He is still scheduled to start Thursday against the New York Mets, although that could change after he tries to throw a side session early next week.
The 24-year-old right-hander had indicated Friday that he could have pitched through the ailment.
In 12 starts this season, Strasburg is just 3-5 with a 2.54 ERA.
