Pittsburgh Steelers rookie running back Le'Veon Bell will make his regular-season debut on Sunday hoping to provide a jolt for his winless team.
Bell hasn't played since spraining his right foot in an exhibition game against Washington on Aug. 19. Pittsburgh's running game has faltered during an 0-3 start. The Steelers are 31st in the NFL in yards rushing per game.
Bell showed flashes of brilliance during training camp, ripping off big plays with regularity. He carried it just two times in preseason however, and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger says he's interested to see what Bell can do against Minnesota (0-3) under the bright lights at Wembley Stadium.
The Steelers will likely limit Bell's snaps, but his presence should bring stability to a position that has struggled.
