Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Pittsburgh Steelers placed linebacker LaMarr Woodley on season-ending injured reserve Tuesday due to a calf injury.

Woodley left Sunday's 30-20 win over Cincinnati in the first quarter with a right calf injury and did not return.

The 29-year-old outside linebacker started 11 games and recorded five sacks for the Steelers this season, despite missing Weeks 11-13 due to a left calf injury.

To replace Woodley on the roster, the Steelers signed linebacker Jamaal Westerman.

Westerman, a five-year veteran out of Rutgers, has played in 57 career games with three starts.
