Pittsburgh, PA – The Pittsburgh Steelers announced on Thursday the signing of the team's fourth-round selection from April's NFL Draft, quarterback Landry Jones, to a four-year deal.
Jones, who becomes the final member of the Steelers' 2013 draft class to sign with the team, was chosen with the 115th selection out of the University of Oklahoma.
An experienced letter winner for the Sooners, Jones started 50-of-52 games, including a school record by position with 48 consecutive starts. The 6-foot-3 signal-caller holds school and Big-12 Conference records for all-time career touchdowns (123), completions (1,388-of-2,183) and passing yards with 16,646.
Jones' college career average of 320.12 passing yards per contest ranks eighth-best all-time in FBS history.
