5:07 p.m. Manny Malhotra is in the lineup for Game 2. What a great story for him. He is on Jumbotron right now and is getting huge ovation from fans, who are now chanting his name. Very emotional. Players work so hard to get to this stage. It's nice that Malhotra could make it all the way back.
4:48 p.m. Manny Malhotra is taking warmups and it looks like he will take the place of Alex Bolduc on the fourth line. There is no Dan Hamhuis for the warmups and Andrew Alberts is the only reserve defenseman taking warmups, so it looks like he draws in to the Game 2 lineup. Vancouver will likely have new defensive pairings, though, as it is unlikely that Alberts will be paired with Kevin Bieska.
4:33 p.m. The Canucks lineup could be very different for Game 2, despite winning Game 1. It appears very likely that center Manny Malhotra could play for the first time this potseason. He has been activated and took part in the morning skate. If he does play, he would likely see fourth-line minutes and take some key draws. It is unlikely, however, that Dan Hamhuis is playing. The defenseman injured himself delivering a hip check to Milan Lucic in Game 1. He has not skated since Game 1. If he does not play, Vancouver coach Alain Vigneault has several replacement options.
4:22 p.m. Welcome to Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final. What a picture-perfect day in Vancouver. Temps were in the 60s and the sun was shIning for the second-straight day and this city is alive with hockey fever. There are reports that up to 100,000 people could gather in the downtown core tonight. On the way to the rink, every local watering hole had a line outside waiting to get in as early as 2 p.m. It should be an amazing scene tonight.
