Jordan Spieth says he gave no thought to withdrawing from the RBC Heritage after the grind of the Masters. Instead, he feels energized by his runner-up finish to Bubba Watson.
The 20-year-old Spieth is in the field at Harbour Town Golf Links, where play starts Thursday. Spieth says the experience at Augusta left him hungry. He understands he can't ease the disappointment at coming close to a Masters title without winning there in the future.
Spieth had an interesting pro-am outing Wednesday, congratulated by more fans than usual because of last week. He also took a wayward wedge shot by a playing partner to the knee, but was OK.
