The Southeastern Louisiana and Southeast Missouri State football programs announced a two-year series over the next two years on Wednesday.
Southeastern Louisiana will host the 2013 game in Hammond on Aug. 29. The home- and-home series will conclude in Cape Girardeau on Sept. 20, 2014.
The two FCS programs have never played each other.
This past season, Southeastern Louisiana went 5-6 overall and 5-2 in the Southland Conference under first-year coach Ron Roberts. Southeast Missouri, under coach Tony Samuel, finished 3-8 overall and 2-6 in the Ohio Valley Conference.
