A.J. Jones scored 24 points, making 9 of 12 shots from the field, and Southeast Missouri used hot 3-point shooting to beat Hannibal-LaGrange 96-55 Monday night.
Jones was 6 of 8 from behind the arc and the Redhawks (4-4) finished 11 of 16, or 69 percent, from 3-point range. They shot 64 percent overall.
Nino Johnson scored 17 points — going 5 for 5 from the field — while Tyler Stone scored 13, Marland Smith scored 12 and Corey Wilford had 11 points for Southeast Missouri. The Redhawks, playing their fifth game in nine days, owned a 39-24 rebounding advantage.
Jurgen Lico led Hannibal-LaGrange with 11 points. The Trojans play in NAIA Division I and counted this as an exhibition game.
