South Carolina provides injury updates on two players
Columbia, SC – South Carolina revealed on Monday that wide receiver Alshon Jeffery underwent surgery to correct a broken hand and guard Terrence Campbell suffered a broken leg in Saturday's game against Clemson.
The junior Jeffery and the senior Campbell both sustained their respective injuries during the 34-13 victory over their intrastate rivals.
Jeffery will start his rehab next week and will be re-evaluated in several weeks, but Campbell's status -- thanks to a cracked fibula -- is more uncertain.
South Carolina, which finished the regular season second in the SEC's Eastern Division with a 6-2 conference mark and 10-2 overall record, is bowl eligible.
