Mexico's Ulises Solis won a 12-round unanimous decision over Jether Oliva on Saturday night to retain his IBF light flyweight title.

Solis (34-2-3) won easily on scorecards that read 118-110, 120-108 and 119-109 in the first title defense of his second IBF reign.

He also held the flyweight title from 2006-09.

Oliva (17-1-1) was fighting for the first time outside his native Philippines, and in his first title bout.
