Philadelphia, PA – Brandt Snedeker claimed his biggest win to date, the Tour Championship, on Sunday and that helped him jump eight spots to No. 10 in this week's world rankings.
With that win, Snedeker also won the FedExCup and the $10 million that comes with it.
Rory McIlroy finished second to Snedeker in the FedExCup race despite winning two of the Playoff events, but easily remained the No. 1 player in the world. He was again followed by Tiger Woods, Luke Donald and Lee Westwood.
Justin Rose finished second behind Snedeker at East Lake and with that improved four spots to No. 5 in the rankings. That knocked Adam Scott down one to sixth, while Bubba Watson and Webb Simpson remained seventh and eighth.
Jason Dufner tumbled three spots to No. 9, one ahead of Snedeker. Louis Oosthuizen held steady at 11 and Steve Stricker dipped a pair to 12th.
Dustin Johnson, Keegan Bradley, Matt Kuchar, Phil Mickelson, Zach Johnson and Graeme McDowell all slid one spot to 13th through 18th, respectively.
Sergio Garcia and Hunter Mahan were 19th and 20th again this week.
