Slattery two clear at Madrid Masters

Lee Slattery carded a three-under stroke lead.

Slattery, who will go for his first tour title on Sunday, completed 54 holes at 14-under-par 202 at El Encin Golf Hotel.

Brett Rumford (68) and Lorenzo Gagli (69) share second place at minus-12.

Cesar Monasterio and Oscar Floren both fired five-under 67s to move into a share of fourth at 11-under-par 205. They were joined by Francesco Molinari, who managed a one-under 71.

World No. 1 and defending champion Luke Donald carded a two-under 70, but slid into a share of 10th at minus-eight.
