Minneapolis, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - The Minnesota Timberwolves announced Monday that guard Shabazz Muhammad is expected to miss the remainder of the season after undergoing finger surgery.
The procedure was needed to repair a ruptured ligament in the middle finger of his left hand.
The 22-year-old UCLA product totaled 13.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists over 38 games for Minnesota this season, his second in the NBA.
