Seattle right fielder Michael Morse left in the seventh inning of Thursday's loss to the Texas Rangers.
He was hit by a pitch in the inning and took his base, but was then replaced on the basepath by Jason Bay. On the previous pitch, he fouled a ball off his hands.
After the game, Seattle manager Eric Wedge said that Morse has a small fracture on his right pinkie finger and he will be out 3-to-7 days.
On the season, he is batting .293 and is tied for the major league lead with six home runs and also has nine RBI.
