(SportsNetwork.com) - The Chargers will come into the draft with the 17th overall selection but the real story is the future of veteran quarterback Philip Rivers.
Rivers has made it clear that if Los Angeles is in the Chargers' future, he's not, fueling speculation that San Diego would consider trading its star to get the second-overall pick from Tennessee, a position that would enable the team to draft Oregon Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota. The Titans, meanwhile, would certainly love an opportunity to reunite Rivers with Ken Whisenhunt.
If San Diego stays put, bolstering the offensive or defensive lines would be in play as would helping the running back position.
