The New Orleans Saints signed four of their draft picks on Thursday, one day before the start of rookie minicamp.

New Orleans agreed to contracts with safety Kenny Vaccaro, offensive tackle Terron Armstead, wide receiver Kenny Stills and linebacker Rufus Johnson.

Vaccaro, the 15th overall pick out of the University of Texas, is the first safety the Saints have ever selected in the first round.

The 22-year-old started 32 of 51 games played for the Longhorns, while registering 264 tackles -- 16 of which came for a loss -- and five interceptions over his four-year career.

Armstead was chosen with New Orleans' 75th overall pick in the third-round out of Arkansas-Pine Bluff of the FCS. He started the final 32 contests of his college career and registered the fastest 40-year dash time (4.71) for an offensive lineman in the history of the NFL Scouting Combine this past February.

Stills was a fifth-round selection, while Johnson was taken in the sixth round.
