New Orleans Saints cornerback Tracy Porter was carted off the field Sunday after making a tackle on the second play from scrimmage against Tampa Bay.

Porter remained on the ground for several minutes and was placed on a stretcher with his head stabilized after hitting Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Williams to break up a slant pass.

The cornerback's face mask was lifted up, but he was moving his arms and legs as he was being carted off.

Williams also stayed on the ground for a few moments, but walked to the sideline under his own power.

On the play, Porter threw his right shoulder area into Williams' thigh to knock the receiver over and break up the pass.
