Sabres forward Corey Tropp will miss approximately 5-to-6 weeks after suffering a broken jaw during Sunday's brawl with the Maple Leafs.

Buffalo head coach Ron Rolston revealed the news on Wednesday, adding that Tropp has already undergone surgery to correct the problem, which occurred during a fight with Toronto's Jamie Devane.

The 89th pick of the 2007 draft, Tropp totaled three goals and eight points over 34 games with the Sabres in 2011-12.
