Sabres best Canadiens in shootout

Montreal, QC – Brad Boyes scored the game-winning goal in the 2 win over the Montreal Canadiens from Bell Centre.

Boyes rushed up the ice slowly and used a backhand-forehand deke to fake out Carey Price before sliding the puck into an open net for the winner.

Derek Roy and Jason Pominville scored the other goals for the Sabres, who got 25 saves from Jhonas Enroth, filling in for an injured Ryan Miller in net.

Max Pacioretty had a goal and an assist and Erik Cole scored for the Canadiens, who got 30 saves from Price in defeat.
