Piscataway, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) - Rutgers wide receiver Brandon Coleman announced Saturday that he will forego his senior season and declare for the 2014 NFL Draft.
Coleman ranks second in Rutgers history with 19 touchdown catches and tied a school record with 10 TD grabs as a sophomore in 2012. The 6-foot-6 Maryland native earned second team All-Big East honors that year after compiling 43 receptions for 718 yards.
The 21-year-old has recorded 32 receptions for 473 yards and three touchdowns while starting all 12 games for the Scarlet Knights this season.
Coleman's final collegiate game will come in the Dec. 28 Pinstripe Bowl, where Rutgers will take on Notre Dame at Yankee Stadium.
