Real Salt Lake forward Olmes Garcia was named the Player of the Week on Monday for Week 15 of the 2013 regular season.

Garcia came off the bench in the 61st minute of Real Salt Lake's match against the Los Angeles Galaxy and scored two goals to lead the club to a comfortable 3-1 victory on Saturday.

With the match tied, 1-1, Garcia found the back of the net in the 84th minute as well as in second-half stoppage time to secure three points for his side.

The 20-year-old Colombian attacker now has four goals in 401 minutes this season, giving him 0.90 goals per 90 minutes, the best rate in the league for all players with more than one goal.

The MLS Player of the Week award is selected each week by the North American Soccer Reporters. The group consists of members of online, print, television, and radio media.
