NASCAR team owner Jack Roush has been released from the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.

Roush has been undergoing treatment for facial injuries he sustained in a July 27 plane accident. The plane Roush was piloting crashed on landing in Oshkosh, Wis.

Roush was released Wednesday.

"I would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of support and concern I have received the past two weeks," Roush said in a news release. "Our teams and drivers have not missed a beat in my absence, and I am proud of the effort they have put forth. I look forward to rejoining them at the track soon."

It has not yet been determined when Roush will return to the race track. The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is competing at Michigan International Speedway this weekend.
