David Johnson showed the Cardinals why it was wise to draft him in the third round.
The rookie running back took a pass from Carson Palmer out of the backfield and turned on the afterburners, leaving the Saints defense in the dust for a 55-yard score.
Andre Ellington was carted off the field in the third quarter, with Chris Johnson replacing him.
If the first-year player continues to make plays like this, he could be in line for some more work if Ellington misses time.
