Vernon Jones scored 18 points and Robert Morris rallied in the second half to defeat St. Francis (N.Y.) 54-51 on Saturday night.
The Colonials (9-10, 5-3 Northeast Conference) trailed by as many as 10 with 2:30 left in the first half and 24-18 at halftime.
Robert Morris shot 29.2 percent in the first half (7 of 24), before making 12 of 21 from the field in the second (57.1 percent).
Trailing 33-29 with 14:48 left to play, Robert Morris scored nine straight to go up 38-33 on Lijah Thompson's jumper with 12:41 remaining. The Colonials wouldn't trail the rest of the way.
The Terriers (8-11, 3-5) cut it to 52-51 on Akeem Johnson's layup with 41 seconds left. But Russell Johnson answered for the Colonials with a layup for the final margin with 10 seconds to go. St. Francis missed two 3-pointers in the final 7 seconds.
Ricky Cadell led the Terriers with 18 points.
