All charges have been dropped against three LSU Tigers following their June 18 arrests and subsequent suspension from the football team, according to NOLA.com. The players had been arrested for unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling.

Quarterback Anthony Jennings, defensive lineman Maquedius Bain and defensive back Dwayne Thomas have all been re-instated by head coach Les Miles and will be in attendance for the beginning of fall camp.

Local district attorney Hillar Moore III addressed the decision to drop all charges against the LSU players Friday.

"Because of conflicting statements in the written and the fact the victims did not want charges pursued, we are not going to file formal charges," Moore said.

"It was a criminal case but it was going to be difficult to prove because of conflicting statements. It was more of a trespass than an unauthorized entry. The LSU Police did a great job taking statements, videotapes and police lineups. I believe LSU will sanction these students appropriately, the Dean of Students and the football coaching staff."
