The Sacramento Kings have reportedly fired head coach Michael Malone.
According to Yahoo Sports late Sunday night, the Kings will hand over the reins to assistant coach Ty Corbin, who was the head coach of the Jazz the previous three seasons.
The Kings opened the campaign with a surprising 9-5 record but have since gone 2-8. Their last nine games have been played without the ill DeMarcus Cousins.
Malone guided the Kings to a 28-54 recorded in his first season at helm (2013-14) and had been an assistant for the Knicks, Cavaliers, Hornets and Warriors.
