A magazine is reporting that seven-time major champion Juli Inkster will be the Americans' next Solheim Cup captain.

Golf World on Monday cites multiple sources as saying Inkster will be introduced as the next captain Tuesday at the JTBC Founders Cup, the first domestic tournament of the year on the LPGA Tour.

Inkster will be 55 when the 2015 Solheim Cup is played at St. Leon-Rot in Germany.

Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2000, Inkster has won the career Grand Slam. She holds U.S. records for most Solheim Cup appearances (nine) and points won (18½). She has a 6-1-2 record in singles.

Europe has won the last two times. Last year at Colorado Golf Club, Europe won for the first time on U.S. soil.
