Grambling, LA (SportsNetwork.com) - Grambling State's football players boycotted practice on Wednesday out of frustration over the direction of their winless season, according to a report.
The Shreveport Times said the Tigers players skipped the practice a day after they walked out of a meeting with administration following Tuesday's practice. A source told the newspaper that players sought to discuss former head coach Doug Williams' firing in mid-September and the way they have been treated by administration.
The Tigers have an 0-7 record, including five losses under interim head coach George Ragsdale. The team, which finished 1-10 last year after winning the Southwestern Athletic Conference championship under Williams in 2011, has lost 13 straight conference games.
