When the Dallas Cowboys return from their Week 7 bye, they will have a new starting left guard. During his press conference on Wednesday, Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett confirmed that rookie La'el Collins will replace Ronald Leary at left guard.
Collins has played 97 offensive snaps this season, filling in for Leary when he has missed time with injury. Collins also made a start and played all 54 offensive snaps in the Cowboys' Week 3 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. In limited snaps so far this season, Collins has graded out strong according to Pro Football Focus.
