Arlington, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - A day after Tony Romo saved their season the Dallas Cowboys reportedly learned they would have to go the rest of the way without him.
Romo will miss a winner-take-all game Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles for the NFC East title and any games after that because of a back injury, ESPN.com reported Monday.
The quarterback, who had surgery in April to remove a cyst from his back, led the Cowboys to a comeback win over the Washington Redskins on Sunday, throwing a touchdown pass to DeMarco Murray with 1:08 remaining to keep the team's playoff hopes alive.
