Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III will reportedly enter the NFL Draft rather than return to Baylor next season.
The fourth-year junior quarterback will meet with agents next weekend, then sit down with coaches on January 11 or 12 to make his decision official, according to a conversation his father had with ESPN.
If he declares for the draft, Griffin will likely be among the top picks after an electric season that helped put his team on the map and led to him being the first Heisman Trophy winner in Baylor history.
Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck, a two-time Heisman runner-up, has long been seen as a clear No. 1 pick by observers.
Underclassmen have until January 15 to declare for the draft. Sunday's report says Griffin texted an ESPN reporter to say he hasn't decided.
