Rookie offensive tackle Andrus Peat drew just his second NFL start on Thursday night against the Atlanta Falcons, but unfortunately it ended early. Peat went down with what turned out to be a sprained MCL.
While Peat will unfortunately miss time, Rand Getlin of NFL Network reports that he will not need surgery.
Peat drew the start because Terron Armstead was out with a knee injury of his own. The Saints grabbed their second win of the season on Thursday, even with the injuries on the offensive line, but here's to hoping both players get back sooner than later.
