RICHMOND, Va. (AP) Robert Griffin III says he wants to put his up-and-down past in the NFL behind him and ''focus on the future.''
And the Washington Redskins quarterback says ''the future started'' during Thursday's first walkthrough of training camp.
Asked by a reporter about his mind-set, Griffin said: ''I'm great mentally. I don't know what you guys are talking about.''
Sticking to vague responses, Griffin would not say how he hopes to improve heading into his fourth season with the Redskins.
As for knowing when to run and when to stay in the pocket, he said: ''It's about playing the game you know how to play, and I know when I'm at my best and that's what I'll do.''
