The Washington Redskins terminated the contract of wideout Donte Stallworth and placed safety Phillip Thomas on season-ending injured reserve Monday among a slew of roster moves.

Stallworth had been signed by the 'Skins on June 12, returning to the club for which he totaled 22 receptions for 309 yards and a pair of touchdowns in 11 games two seasons ago.

Thomas was felled by a torn Lisfranc ligament in his left foot earlier in August, and subsequent surgery meant recovery time was in the 4-to-5 month range. Washington made Thomas, out of Fresno State, their fourth-round pick back in April.

In other roster moves, the reigning NFC East champions placed linebacker Keenan Robinson on IR, while also waiving cornerback Richard Crawford, linebackers Jeremy Kimbrough, Ricky Elmore, Quan Sturdivant, fullback Eric Kettani, kicker John Potter and wide receiver Chip Reeves.
