The Phoenix Suns have signed 11-year veteran guard Michael Redd, they announced Thursday.

Redd had spent his entire career with the Milwaukee Bucks, averaging 20.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 578 contests.

However, he has been limited to just 61 games over the last three seasons because of knee injuries. He tore the MCL and ACL in his left knee during both the 2009 and 2010 seasons.

The Suns are 0-2 this season and will seek their first win Friday when they face New Orleans in their first road game of the year.
