The Texas Rangers recalled right-handed A Round Rock on Wednesday.

This is O'Day's third stint with the major league club, the others coming from Opening Day-July 13 and August 6-9. O'Day also spent over two months on the disabled list recovering from surgery to repair a partial tear of the labrum in his left hip.

O'Day has gone 0-1 with a 3.86 earned run average in 12 appearances for Texas this season.

To make room on the active roster, the Rangers optioned catcher Taylor Teagarden to Triple-A. In 14 games for Texas this season, Teagarden has batted .235 with two doubles and two RBI.
