Alameda, CA – The Oakland Raiders signed safety Reggie Smith on Thursday.
The 26-year-old Oklahoma product was out of football last year after being cut by the Carolina Panthers just prior to the season.
Smith spent his first four seasons with the San Francisco 49ers and started seven games for them in 2010. He compiled 60 tackles, two interceptions and seven passes defended over his four-year stint with the 49ers.
